My Specialties
I specialize in yard art that serves as focal points to gardens. My yard art adds colour when the gardens whither in the winter months. My clay sculptures are durable and frost proof so they can remain outdoors all year. Yard art combines my love of gardens and pottery as the sculptures make the garden come to life.
My Inspiration
I'm inspired by plants, fish and animals that reflect the vibrancy of their surroundings.
My Work
I received my masters in design from the University of Minnesota. Since moving to British Columbia I fell in love with gardens, but couldn’t keep the colour year round. My yard art makes that possible. In this world that is so filled with sadness and pain, I attempt to creat a reprieve by focusing on whimsical pieces with subtle gestural expression. I work in stoneware and porcelain.
